With over 55 years of expertise, Waypoint helps children throughout southern Maine, meet their social, emotional, and academic needs while supporting their families through all stages of development.
With the best professional team, we offer a special purpose private school (Fraser Ford School) for children in preschool through fifth grade with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities; a year-round inclusive daycare program for typically developing children between the ages of two and a half to five; as well as children’s case management and children’s clinical services.
In building a life filled with a sense of belonging and self-confidence, we support children and their families on their journey.

Fraser Ford School
Welcome to Fraser Ford School at Waypoint—a certified Special Purpose Private School where children from Pre-K through grade 5 are supported, empowered, and inspired every day. As part of the Waypoint community, your child will experience a deep sense of belonging among peers and caring educators. Our year-round educational and behavioral health day treatment program is designed for children with autism, social-emotional, and other developmental needs. With expert staff, individualized support plans, specialized therapies, and a nurturing environment rich in creative and physical outlets, we help each child build practical tools to thrive and reach their fullest potential. Waypoint Kids Preschool and Daycare
It’s a big moment the first time you bring your child to school. We welcome you to this milestone at our warm and supportive facility with a hug and smile. Waypoint Kids offers a licensed, year-round, and inclusive daycare program for typically developing children between the ages of two and a half to five. Our trained and certified staff provides a caring and nurturing environment for young children, and it’s a gift to watch them grow and develop as they become kindergarten ready.
Case Management and Care Coordination
When you have a child (birth to 21 years old) with an intellectual disability, behavioral health disorder, autism, or other developmental delays or disability, you are eligible for care coordination or children’s case management services. We deeply understand the challenges, and emotions parents face along this journey. The Waypoint team helps you locate necessary services, access essential resources, and secure support.
